on a more serious note: people shouldn’t forget this.

But you know how most Filipinos are. They forgive and forget.

Especially the millions of Filipinos living in poverty.

They are too gullible.

I think that’s why Erap staged his announcement in Tondo where a big

fraction of the population is poor.

But don’t get me wrong. I am not saying that all poor people are gullible.

Well… I think you get I am trying to say.

Maybe we can’t blame them for being such.

When you live in too much poverty and hopelessness,

you try to cling on any promise of a better life.

Even if you are not sure if that promise will materialize.

More than the change in governance that many Filipinos are

asking for, I believe that a change among us all Filipinos

is more important. The change should start among the voting public.

Because if don’t change, we will just keep on electing

the same kind of leaders every election.

We cannot totally blame the country’s current state

to the people running it. Remember that majority of

us gave them the power they have now.

So please vote wisely in 2010!
